Features

Energy Hub is an energy information system. It aggregates and analyzes energy system data from monitoring devices in your facility. It is based on a software as a service model where Schneider Electric hosts the application and makes it available over the internet.

Components

Energy Hub consists of the following high-level components:

Web application

The Energy Hub web application runs in a web browser on a personal computer. You use it to investigate and report on energy system information.

Mobile application

The Energy Hub mobile application runs on a mobile device. You use it to investigate and report on energy system information.

Cloud computing services

Cloud computing services are internet-based services that aggregate and analyze the energy system data. They provide the information you access through the web application.

Gateways

Gateways are installed locally in your facility. They are communication devices that send energy system data from monitoring devices to the cloud computing services.

Monitoring devices

Monitoring devices are installed locally in your facility. They provide the energy system data for analysis and aggregation. Monitoring devices can be discrete devices or embedded devices, for example, in a protection relay or a circuit breaker.

Feature	Description
Energy system data displays	Monitor the status of your facility. Investigate issues and exceptional operating conditions.
Contextual information views	Information views provide different ways of viewing and managing your energy system information. You use views when you are investigating issues. You also use views when setting up your system.
Alarming	Stay informed about exceptional operating conditions in your facility.
Reporting	Share energy system information within your company or with stakeholders such as auditors or service providers.
Feature plans	Feature plans determine the features that are available to you in Energy Hub. Select and subscribe to a feature plan that is right for your energy management needs.
