Changing user privileges

User privileges control what a user can do in Energy Hub and for which locations a user can access data in an organization. You control what a user can do by assigning user roles. You control which data a user can access by setting custom access permissions.

NOTE: Restricting data access for a user limits their privileges. For details, see Limited privileges for users with restricted access permissions.

To change user privileges:

1. In Energy Hub, go to Setup > Users.
2. On the Users tab, in the users table, find the user you want to change privileges for.
3. From the options menu (three dots) for this user, select Change privileges. The Change privileges panel displays.
4. In the Change privileges panel, select the new user role and access permissions for this user.
5. Select Change privileges.
