Energy Hub Help is an online help system with information on Energy Hub and how to use it. You can access Help through the Energy Hub user interface.

For step-by-step instructions on how to access Help, see To open Energy Hub Help.

Help design and layout

The Help user interface has a header area with a search box at the top, a navigation panel on the left, and a content panel on the right. Help includes a home page with tiles that guide you to specific content areas. To navigate Help, you can select a home page tile, a topic from the navigation panel, or enter a search term into the search box.

The following shows a screen capture of the Energy Hub Help home page :

Home page tiles

The home page tiles provide quick access to content to help you discover Energy Hub, gain a deeper understanding of its functions, find out how to use it, or investigate unexpected system behavior.

Navigation panel

The navigation panel on the left shows a table of contents that includes all available help topics. Select a topic to view its content in the content panel.

Search

Search scans the entire help content for words or strings that match the search term. You can search for strings, phrases, or word combinations.

Tips for using search:

  • Search is not case sensitive.
  • It automatically includes variations on word endings. (Example: search results for "run" include "runner", "running", "runs",...)
  • You can use Boolean operators (AND, OR). The operators are not case sensitive.
  • The search term is highlighted in the search result topics.

Help tools

Help includes tools to improve usability.
You can find the following tools in the top right corner of the content panel:
