Settings

[Web app and mobile app]

Settings influence the behavior of Energy Hub. Some settings affect an entire organization, some individual users, and others are limited to a location, device, or function.

Energy Hub uses the following types of settings:

Organization settings

Organization settings define basic behavior, such as the use of units of measurement for the organization. These settings affect an entire organization.

User preferences and notification settings

User preferences settings define behavior that is specific to a user, such as notification settings or UI language settings. These settings only affect the logged in user.

Location and device settings

Location and device settings influence energy data processing and display that is specific to a location, such as a site, a piece of equipment, or a monitoring device. These settings affect a location and possibly child locations, a piece of equipment, or a device.

For a list of common settings, see Settings. For step-by-step instructions on editing settings, see system settings tasks.
