Settings

Energy Hub uses settings to control application appearance, behavior, and information processing. Settings can apply to the entire organization, or to specific locations, devices, or functions. Your user role and access permissions determine which settings you can view and edit.

The following shows a select list of settings in Energy Hub:

Commodity	Equipment or device setting	Equipment or device	List of common commodities	Determines the display type that is used to show the data, for example "water consumption" display for water measurements. Data formats	User preference setting	User	View only	Shows the data formats that are used for dates,time, and numbers.	Setup	The data formats are determined by the regional settings of your browser and operating system. They cannot be changed in Energy Hub.

Electricity rate	Location setting	Site	Manually entered value	[Mobile app only] Used to calculate electrical energy cost for Site manager mode in the mobile app.	Mobile app (Site manager) > Setup > Organization settings	Different sites can have different electricity rates. Electricity sell-back rate	Location setting	Site	Manually entered value	Used to calculate an adjusted rate for sites with on-site generation and utility sell back.	Information panel for the location. Energy mode	Location setting	Organization Region Site	Active energy (default) Apparent energy	Determines which type of electrical energy is shown in the energy and demand displays.	Information panel for the location.	An organization has a default energy mode setting. Regions inherit this setting from the organization. Sites inherit the setting from the regions. Floor area	Location setting	Any location in the organization tree	Manually entered value	Used to calculate normalized consumption, such as energy intensity or water use intensity. Meter wiring is reversed	Device setting	Device	On/Off (Yes/No) slider	Determines how Energy Hub uses the Energy delivered "Delivered" describes the direction of the energy flow. The flow is from the utility to the customer. Voltage and current are in phase. "Delivered" is the same as "Imported" or "Into the load". and Energy received "Received" describes the direction of the energy flow. The flow is from the customer to the utility. Voltage and current are 180 degrees out of phase. "Received" is the same as "Exported" or "Out of the load". measurements of the device to calculate energy consumption and generation.
