Notifications
[Web app and mobile app]
Energy Hub uses notifications to inform you about important events or activities. Notifications can be sent by email and mobile push notification. Emails are sent to your Schneider ID email account; push notifications are sent to your mobile device through the Energy Hub mobile app.

Energy Hub supports the following notification types:
Alarm notifications
Alarm notifications inform you of alarm state changes when alarms go active or inactive.
NOTE: Energy Hub only sends alarm notifications for alarms that are included in the active feature plan subscription for your organization.
Reminders
Reminders inform you of expiration dates or existing system conditions that require attention.
Alerts
Alerts inform you of limitations or possible future conditions that could impact your Energy Hub system.
Peace of mind notifications
Peace of mind notifications inform you when no negative system conditions have been detected.
For more details on Energy Hub notifications, see Notification types reference.

Notification settings control which alarm notifications Energy Hub sends. You can customize these settings based on alarm category and alarm priority.
NOTE: Reminders, alerts, and peace of mind notifications are not controlled by the notification settings.
The following table shows the available alarm categories and alarm priorities:
Setting | Options |
---|---|
Alarm category | Asset Monitoring Diagnostics Energy Management General Power Quality |
Alarm priority | Low, Medium, High |
For step-by-step instructions on how to edit notification settings, see To edit notification settings.

Energy Hub has a limit for the number of alarm notification emails it sends per calendar month. This limit is based on the number of device credits in your feature plan.
Available emails for an organization per month = number of device credits × 100
For example, an organization with 15 device credits has a maximum of 1500 (15 × 100) alarm notification emails available per calendar month.
Energy Hub sends reminder emails when 75% and 100% of the email limit has been reached. After the limit has been reached, Energy Hub does not send or queue alarm notification emails for the rest of that month. Email counts are reset at the beginning of each calendar month, so the full number of alarm notification emails is available again for the organization for the new month.
NOTE: There is no limit for the number of alarm push notifications and non-alarm notification emails Energy Hub can send.
